The Society of Medical Friends of Wine is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. The specific purposes for which this corporation is organized include, but are not limited to:
1) the stimulation of scientific research on medical effects of wine
2) education about wine
3) to develop understanding of the beneficial effects of wine
4) to disseminate and discuss information about the medical effects of wine, especially to medical professionals
5) to make available to the public information about the medical effects of wine
6) to cooperate with any other organizations having a like or similar purpose or objective
7) to do anything necessary and proper to effectuate the purposes and objectives of this organization.
